Not to be a jerk, but the title of this post really bothered me. I work full time. I live with my husband and autistic brother in law. However. I’m not a mom (yet…by choice). Why can’t this just be freezer meals for busy PEOPLE?! Why are people who don’t have children excluded?! Can these meals not be useful to people who don’t have children?!
You’re isolating a certain demographic from your audience. Just wanted to point this out.

Okay, maybe I”m asking a totally obvious question here, but…do I have to thaw these out before I throw them in the slow cooker or the oven?

    1. Passion For Savings says:

I find it easier to thaw things, they cook better but some people put in a Crock Pot for example frozen and let it cook all day. I like to thaw it first personally but I don’t have to leave in the morning early, if you were going to be gone all day you could start it from frozen in a crockpot.

Can you please recommend your top 5 chicken faves? I would like to start out only making a few, but can’t narrow it down. Thank you!

  5. Sorry to bother you…

but the first three recipes I clicked on…not a single one actually had freezer instructions. (It was “Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake”, “Chicken Zucchini Casserole”, and “Crock Pot Beef & Broccoli.”) They all were bake immediately (except one said “you can freeze for later”….but didn’t tell me how to cook it).

Maybe if I was already familiar with freezer meals, I would know how to prep these, freeze them, and pull them out.
(And do I cook them frozen, or thaw them first? And do I change the cook times or temperatures).

While this is a great round-up….I was looking for freezer meals.
    Can you help me?

I did look at your “week of freezer meals in under an hour”. But I pinned this for all of them, not just those.

    Thanks,
    Jennie

You can freeze all of these meals after assembly before you actually bake. So Sorry for the confusion. Baking time would be the same once thawed.

I clicked on the Chicken Tariyaki Recipe and it took me to a french dip recipe.
